The compulsory rotating internship lasting for 12 months comprises of postings in Community health, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Child health, Orthopedics, Emergency medicine and short electives in various specialties. The completion of course leads to award of degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) by Baba Farid university of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS). The course is governed by guidelines of BFUHS and Medical Council of India (MCI).
